Granola “snack” muffins

Since we are on our way to Arizona… I am packing snacks in our travel bag to munch while we wait in line at customs.

The kids and I highly recommend these nutrient dense, yummy muffins!

 

 

 

 

Homemade Granola “Snack” Muffins

1/3 cup Butter melted (salted)
1 frozen Banana thawed (much better consistency for mushing up)
1/2 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
1/3 cup Honey or like sweetener
1/3 cup Green Pumpkin seeds
1/3 cup Sunflower seeds
1/3 cup Craisins
2 cups Gluten free Oats
2 tsp Baking Powder

Mix all of the above ingredients together and place in cupcake or muffin cups.  Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until toasted on top and firm to the touch.

Yes, they have butter and Honey but they are all natural ingredients and the kids and hubby can’t stop eating them!
