Meet Sue

I am a Certified Personal Trainer with real life experience fighting the battle with weight loss. I love my clients and hope that soon you will be one too!

At age 22 I was overweight, out of shape, ate chips, dip, and chocolate bars for my meals.  I had a very healthy family with great role models; a father who was an accomplished marathon runner and a competitive tennis player for my mother.  I was a rebel and smoked and ate and didn’t move at all.

When I began a career in an Occupational Health Clinic I realized that I needed to change.  I started a walk/run program on my own and with dedication and reading every thing I could get my hands on, I became passionate about nutrition and getting fit. I lost the weight and have kept it off for decades.

It wasn’t only about losing weight, it was about getting fit and healthy.  I work very hard to instill those principles when training my clients.  I believe that getting fit should be about feeling good about yourself, getting control over your eating and making health a priority in your life.

I strive to make every workout different, to work with each client’s strengths and physical limitations as well as to make it invigorating and fun for them. I have experience working with people with injuries and limitations as well as those who just want to get a great workout in!

My Buddy Fit program encourages clients to partner up with a friend or two for their workouts as it has been proven that supportive friendships make for long lasting health benefits.

I have run 5  marathons (most recently qualified for Boston at the New York Marathon in 2013) and 16 half marathons. I can honestly say at 45, I am faster now then I have ever been in my life. I can help you to become the best, healthiest version of yourself that you can be.sue running
